Wise or A Fool, Which is it Going to Be?

“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good.” Psalm 13:1 (NKJV)

Not too many people take kindly to being called a fool but often it’s the truth as we carry out unwise acts or thoughts. According to this verse one of those things we can do to make ourselves look like an idiot is to say in our hearts that there is no God. Sadly enough there are people out there who would rather burn in hell than believe in God. Some day they will get their wish, not because God sent them there but because they chose to go out of foolishness. The choice is ours that comes with a consequence that will last for all eternity. Wise or a fool which is it going to be?

Dear Heavenly Father praise you Lord that there is a God and You are it. Help us Lord to make that choice not only in our hearts but in our actions as well to show more and more people the road to eternity with You. A good road to travel that is not as complicated as we try to make it out to be. A path with a great destination making the journey worth the rough terrain often traveled to get there. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
